Warrior Chant November 2024

An investment is defined as a strategic allocation of resources to generate future benefits. In March of 2025 the patrons of Glenpool will have the opportunity to make the most important investment possible, an investment in the future of our children.
During the 2023 school year, Glenpool Public Schools worked with parents, students, teachers, and patrons to develop a strategic plan for the future of our school. Improving facilities, infrastructure, and technology are high priorities within this plan. The committee placed this as a high priority because the community response to district needs indicated that facilities were an essential need for the district.
This investment will fund essential renovations and upgrades to ensure our schools are safe, efficient, and conducive to 21st-century learning. The bond issue will also help support our extra-curricular programs and they continue to grow.
A strong district is vital to our community’s overall prosperity. By investing in our schools, we attract and retain talented educators and staff who are dedicated to providing the best possible education for our students.
We will be sharing more details as we get closer. Please stay tuned for more information via our social media, web page, and through our community forums. I encourage you to contact our district office with any questions.

Vision Screening
Oklahoma State Law requires that parents of each student in kindergarten, first and third grade provide the school with documentation that the student has passed a vision screening within the previous 12 months. The Health office in conjunction with Vizavance will provide free vision screenings for PK-4th grades later this month that will satisfy this requirement. The health office may also perform hearing screenings in conjunction with vision screenings.
If you do not wish to have your student screened, please sign the exclusion form by November 13, 2024. By NOT notifying the school, you are granting permission for your child to be screened. Please contact your site nurse with any questions.
