Warrior Chant January 2025
It is an exciting time to be a Warrior! In a December 4th special meeting, the Board of Education passed resolutions authorizing the calling and holding of a 53.9 million dollar bond for Glenpool Public Schools on March 4; the largest in the history of the school. In the same board meeting, we were able to issue the final bond payment on our 2017 bond that allowed us to build the Lower Elementary. Because of increased valuation in the district and the design of the leave-revenue bond, there will be NO TAX INCREASE to the citizens of Glenpool.
This bond issue will have a positive effect on every building and program in the district. We are adding new facilities as well as doing extensive remodeling of our current facilities. I encourage you to take time to explore our webpage for details. Also be on the lookout for community forum dates where we will go over in detail the specifics of the bond and specifics on the projects.
This bond issue is an investment not only in students but also an investment in the future of Glenpool, without a tax increase. The district will be rolling out more information soon and as always if you have questions, please email me at cllayton@glenpoolps.org or call at 918-322-9500.
