His colleagues nominated him with these comments: Logan has become a valuable part of the Lower Elementary SPED department. His patience with students with special needs is commendable, and he truly has a heart for the students he serves. He has an amazing way of forming relationships with the students he serves, and the students genuinely love him.
The District's Elementary Teacher of the Month is Rachel Welch. Ms. Welch teaches in our STEM program.
A note from her colleagues: Rachel is always willing to take on any project and help in any way possible. She usually stays behind the scenes but does so much to provide support. She deserves some recognition for all of her endurance and fortitude. We always love it when she comes for STEM down at the lower for a nice break. The kids love to have that time, too, and always appreciate "Ms. Stem."
