We want to not only congratulate but also honor Gina Farmen as our November Support Personnel of the Month.

Gina is one of our bus drivers. Recently, she noticed her bus was in trouble as smoke arose from the engine area. She immediately evacuated her students. The bus went up in flames, like in a movie. Utter and complete destruction.

Everyone involved was safe, and Gina even walked each student home.

She is a true hero for keeping her kids safe and protected.

Thank you, Gina, for your hard work and dedication to our community.

Tulsa Tech Applications for 2027-2028 Are Now Open!

If you are interested in attending Tulsa Tech for the next academic year (2027-2028), you can apply now! They have over 90 programs to choose from and 6 different campus locations. If you have questions about program options or need help with the application process, please sign up to see our Tulsa Tech advisor for Glenpool, Mandy Flanary. Strengthening the partnership between our families and Glenpool Schools is one of our most important commitments. As Dr. James Comer wisely stated, “No significant learning can occur without a significant relationship.”

While the district provides many digital tools to help you monitor grades and track your child's progress, technology is only a tool. Nothing is more powerful than a one-on-one conversation about your student.

Meeting face-to-face gives you the chance to share insights about your child, while giving our teachers the opportunity to share how we can best support their learning. Parent-teacher conferences have started, but there is still time for you to schedule an appointment.

I strongly encourage you to schedule an appointment with your child’s teachers. Specific dates and times are available on each school site’s calendar.

Glenpool Intermediate and Elementary participated in the Folds of Honor Salute: Letters of Gratitude Project. Students learn about service, sacrifice, and gratitude and write letters of gratitude to the everyday heroes who protect and strengthen our community. GPS is proud to support the Red, White, and Blue!

Mark your calendars and join us for Glenpool Middle School Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A Glenpool on Tuesday, September 22, from 5:00-8 :00 PM!

Grab dinner for the family while helping support GMS. A portion of qualifying purchases during the event will be donated back to our school.

You can participate by ordering Drive-Thru, Carry-Out, Dine-In, or through the Chick-fil-A App. If you order in person, be sure to mention Glenpool Middle School (GMS) when ordering so our school receives credit.

Mobile Orders: If ordering through the Chick-fil-A App, enter the code GMS2026 in the app before placing your order. The code will only be active from 5:00-8:00 PM on September 22.

And make sure to come inside for some extra fun! We will have a $1 Prize Wheel and $1 raffle tickets available throughout the evening. The raffle winner will receive 10 FREE Chick-fil-A Meal Cards! The winner will be drawn at the end of the event, and all proceeds from the Prize Wheel and raffle will benefit GMS.
