Message from the Superintendent

Strengthening the partnership between parents and school is one of the many important goals we developed during the strategic planning process. We purchased security software that allowed for safe but efficient access to the buildings for parents. The district also began using an online quick background check to allow for more parent volunteers during school hours. Next year, you will see the district shifting to a different web page platform that is user friendly, has a very robust app, and increases our capacity for multiple modes of communication.

Technology is a wonderful tool in strengthening this partnership, but nothing is more powerful than a one on one discussion about the progress of your child.  Strengthening the partnership between parents and the district is a two way street. We encourage you to set an appointment during our parent teacher conferences and speak face to face with your child's teacher. Our secondary sites begin next week, and our elementary sites are later in the year. Specific information with times and dates can be found on the website calendar for the site.

Hope to see you at conferences!!

Go For Glenpool

Great news for you and our schools

Public Schools are funded primarily on taxes that you already pay to the State of Oklahoma. What if you could specify that your tax dollars benefit Glenpool Schools? Go for Glenpool Education Tax Credit Fund is a great way for you to do just that!

When you give to Glenpool Education Tax Credit Fund, you empower education and support students in Glenpool Public Schools and you get an Oklahoma Tax Credit. Tax credits work like a “gift card” that you can use to pay Oklahoma taxes. Tax credits directly reduce your tax burden regardless of your tax rate.

Last year with our contributions we were able to start a Bio-Med class for incoming Freshmen. Our goal is to add an additional course for Sophomores. Go for Glenpool is a great way for you to fund innovative programs for our students.

I encourage you to visit our Go for Glenpool page to review the benefits and FAQs of this program. If this is right for you, then there is an easy link on this page to make your contributions. All documentation required when you file your taxes will be sent to you prior to tax deadline.

Thank you in advance for supporting this program!
