Extended Day

Glenpool Elementary Extended Day program provides after school care for students enrolled in Pre-K through grade 6. The program will include a snack and opportunities for outdoor play, homework, and indoor toys and games.

2024-2025 Fees:

Full-time enrolled PK - 6th-grade student (per week fee)

Full-time enrolled PK - 6th-grade sibling (per week fee)

Early Bird Pick-up student (pick up by 4:30, per week fee)

Early Bird Pick-up 2 students (pick up by 4:30, per week fee)

*Fees are applied weekly while school is in session and accrue despite your child’s attendance. Weekly fees can not be divided up if you choose for your child to only attend the extended day program on certain days of the week.

Late Pick-Up Fee:

A late fee will be applied to any student left after 6:00 p.m. A fee of $5.00 for every five minutes after 6:00 p.m. will be due. Chronic tardiness will result in immediate dismissal from the extended day program.   

Early bird pick-up is at 4:30  p.m.  If your child and/or children are continually being picked up after 4:30 p.m. their enrollment will be transferred to a full-time extended-day student. This will result in an additional $20-a-week fee. 

Delinquent Accounts:

A $5.00 late fee will be applied to accounts delinquent more than a week unless prior arrangements have been made.  If your family account is not kept current, it will lead to your family being excused from the extended day program. 

Discipline:

The Extended Day Program reserves the right to dismiss a child if the director and staff determine that the program cannot meet the needs of the child and cannot guarantee the safety of the child. 

Causes for immediate dismissal include: 

  • The child’s behavior endangers himself/ herself or others 

  • Intentional destruction of property occurs.

  • Behavior is consistently disruptive to the program affecting all students

  • The child leaves the site/program without permission

  *Refunds will not be issued if a student is dismissed due to discipline.

Extended Day Enrollment

Families may enroll for Extended Day for the 24-25 school term. Applications will done with the family update through your parent portal.
